What is TransL8?
TransL8 is a real-time translation bot for Twitch streamers. It automatically translates chat messages in real-time, helping you reach global audiences regardless of language barriers.
How does the 7-day free trial work?
Simply sign up with your Twitch account and you'll get 7 days of full Pro features for free. No credit card required! After 7 days, choose a plan to continue or revert to the free tier.
Is my data safe?
Yes! TransL8 is fully compliant with GDPR and CCPA regulations. We use enterprise-grade security and never share your personal data with third parties.
Setup & Configuration
How do I get started?
1. Sign up with your Twitch account
2. Visit your dashboard
3. Choose your target language
4. Toggle "Auto-Translate" ON
5. Start streaming!
That's it! The bot will automatically translate messages.
What languages do you support?
On the Pro plan, we support English, Spanish, French, German, and Japanese. More languages coming soon! Starter plan is limited to English.
Can I ignore specific words or users?
Yes! Both Pro and Starter plans allow you to add words to an ignore list (they won't be translated). Pro plans also let you ignore specific bot users like Nightbot or StreamElements.
How do I use custom emotes?
TransL8 automatically filters emotes from Twitch, BetterTTV, FrankerFaceZ, and 7TV. They won't be translated – no setup needed!
Billing & Subscriptions
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes! You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your access continues until the end of your billing period.
What's your refund policy?
Subscriptions are generally non-refundable. However, under UK consumer rights, you have 14 days from your first subscription to request a full refund. After that, no refunds are available for active subscriptions.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Absolutely! Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated pricing. Downgrades apply at the start of your next billing cycle.
What happens if I don't subscribe after the trial?
Your account will automatically downgrade to the free Starter plan with 100 translations per day limit. You can always upgrade later!

My bot isn't translating – what should I do?
Try these steps:
1. Check that "Auto-Translate" is toggled ON in your dashboard
2. Verify your target language is set correctly
3. Check if messages are on your ignore list
4. Restart your stream
